Timmian Massie

Tim Massie is a strong Poughkeepsie advocate. He serves as a Director of the Dyson Foundation, Secretary-Treasurer of the New York Newspapers Foundation, and Trustee at Dutchess Community College. He is also on the Board of the Dutchess Community College Association and the Poughkeepsie Alliance. Tim’s understanding and care for our community has garnered him numerous awards and in 2018, he was named one of the “100 Most Socially Responsible Executives and Thought Leaders in New York State”by City and State Magazine.

Tim Massie is Chief Marketing/Public Affairs Officer at Rhinebeck Bank. He served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Public Affairs and Government Relations at Nuvance Health and its predecessor, Health Quest Systems, Inc at the crucial time during the building of a $700M hospital expansion in Poughkeepsie. He also oversaw the not-for-profit healthcare system’s foundations. He spent 2 decades as Chief Public Affairs Officer at Marist College, where he also taught in the Communication and Religious Studies departments. He began his career as a news reporter for WEOK/WPDH radio before moving into public relations positions with the Civil Service Employees Association, Dutchess County Legislature and Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation.

Massie is a graduate of Dutchess Community College and Fordham University, with additional studies at the Gregorian University in Rome and the North American College in Vatican City.
