Phoebe Yung is Director of Private Philanthropy at DAY ONE, where she leads private giving strategy, deepens donor relationships, and helps position the organization for sustained growth. With more than 15 years of experience building and growing fundraising and revenue strategies and leading cross-sector teams, Phoebe has worked in data consulting at BCG, analytics leadership at Spectrum, and early-stage fundraising as a founder. She holds an MPA from the London School of Economics and Columbia University, and a BA in Economics from University of Maryland. A Poughkeepsie resident and DAY ONE parent, Phoebe brings the analytical rigor of a strategist and the grounded perspective of a parent who believes deeply in what DAY ONE is building.
When I was a kid
I remember arriving at school one morning excited to take a basket of toys from the cubby to play, only to discover a huge cockroach right behind it. I froze, convinced it would eat me because of its size. It eventually got away but to this day, I am still wary of roaches.
