Christa Hines, Executive Director of Hudson River Housing is a native of Rhinebeck, NY. She graduated from Rhinebeck High School and went on to SUNY Binghamton where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude. In 1998, Christa joined Hudson River Housing, Inc. where she has held several positions. Her positions included Chief Accountant, Director of Finance, Chief Financial Officer, Associate Executive Director and in April of 2017, Christa assumed the role of Executive Director for the organization.

As a life-long resident of the Hudson Valley, Christa is deeply committed to contributing to the vibrancy and vitality of the community. She is truly dedicated to the mission of Hudson River Housing to deliver compassionate housing services aimed at improving lives.  She works tirelessly to support the staff and motivate the agency to grow as a housing and community leader. She continues to reside in Rhinebeck, where she and her husband are raising two active, teen-age sons. Christa loves to lead an active lifestyle outdoors on her family’s dairy farm and is enthusiastically involved in her community, her sons’ education and sports activities.
